John Mack Scholarship
The John Mack Scholarship is a financial award for members that exhibit leadership and participation in
extracurricular activities to benefit charitable or humanitarian organizations, or more simply – organizations in need.
Recipients of the John Mack Scholarship are awarded funding to put toward their educational expenses at their current
university. Expected awards are a one-time scholarship of at least $1,ooo per recipient.
The current application period has CLOSED.

Criteria

Must be an active member in good standing of the Beta Sigma Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega
-
Must be a full time student, currently enrolled for a minimum of 12 hours or more

Must be returning to Texas Tech University next semester as an undergraduate student

Must not have been previously been awarded this same scholarship

Exhibit significant participation and leadership in extracurricular activities to benefit individuals in need and/ or charitable and/or humanitarian organizations

Submit a statement of purpose of education and career plans.

Requires a Letter of Recommendation
